Introduction to Coursework

After looking at the options given on the specification, our group decided to produce the MOVIE TRAILER as the main project, followed by the two smaller projects as the asvertising POSTER and a MAGAZINE front cover. We thought this would be the strongest option for the group, because as individuals we have looked into film and print previously. However, before we begin our project we need to look into gaps in the market, we are going to do this by researching existing trailers to see which are the most successful, as well as what age ranges match the genres of the trailers. We also need to see the conventions are in each trailer. Also for our own movie trailer we need to cast suitable people for the acting roles, that have a compatible look with what we have in mind. By planning our ideas in advance it will helpt to keep our group organised and will improve our filming strategies.
